Smithfield, NC – Site work has officially begun by Carolina Commercial Contractors on Local70, a 164-acre mixed-use development by Holmes Companies and Keller Development.

Local70 includes single family homes, The Terrace at Local70 apartments, and commercial parcels.

Holmes Companies and Keller Development are committed to creating a walkable, connected community that meets area housing needs while honoring Smithfield’s unique character. Local70 is the first of its kind in Smithfield, with thoughtfully designed open spaces, including its central Bower Square and Duck Pond. Currently there are 263 single family homesites, 312 apartments, and multiple commercial parcels in Local70.
