Sanford, NC – Carolina Commercial manager O.A. “Buddy” Keller, III received a tremendous honor as the new Sanford RaleighExec Jetport terminal building was dedicated in his honor. Buddy was not aware he would receive this honor until the evening of the grand opening and airport dedication, and his surprise and pleasure were evident.

Speaker of the NC House Tim Moore was in attendance, as well as Representative John Sauls, and many community leaders and past airport authority members.

Current Chairman of the RaleighExec Board, W. Carter Keller, also a CCC managing member,  was pleased to be the one presenting  his father with this tribute.

Buddy was instrumental in moving the airport to its new site many years ago, and served on the airport board of directors for over a decade. He continues to work for general aviation in Lee County and North Carolina. RaleighExec is now the largest general aviation airport in the state.
