On October 17th, Carolina Commercial Contractors was awarded the Leader in Guardrail Safety Award acknowledging our continued commitment to safety in the workplace. David Beauchamp from Builders Mutual presented this award to members of our internal Safety Committee including Nick Hoffman, Daysi Dossenbach, Chase Dodson, and Mike Parker.

Builders Mutual and NAHB celebrate their annual Guardrail Safety week from October 14th to 18th, promoting the difference proper guardrail use makes in protecting workers and saving lives. Fall protection is one of OSHA’s most-cited violation on job sites. The Leader in Guardrail Safety award is awarded to 12 out of 10,000 companies. We are incredibly proud of not only our internal team members, who work hard to promote and educate our employees on job site safety, but also to our workers in the field who follow safety guidelines consistently to ensure everyone returns home safely.

After the award presentation on Thursday, all Carolina Commercial employees participated in a CPR and AED training program led by Evolution Safety Resources. ESR is a longtime partner of CCC, helping us to educate and enforce safety guidelines and best practices. ESR also leads our annual OSHA trainings and monthly Toolbox Talks.

Safety is one of our top priorities as an organization, and we want to ensure all employees have the education and resources they need to feel safe both in the office and on the job site.
