CCC Awarded Contract for Patrick’s Pointe Multi-Family Community

Excitement builds in Southern Pines as the community anticipates significant developments this year. In addition to the heightened activity expected from the US Open in June, a new multi-family living community, Patrick’s Pointe, has officially broken ground.

Having gained approval from the mayor and city council members last year, the 25-acre parcel of land along U.S. Highway 1 is poised for transformation. Miami-based Volta Global, a renowned real estate developer, has selected Carolina Commercial Contractors (CCC) as the general contractor for the construction of this 266-unit contemporary apartment complex, strategically located just minutes from downtown Southern Pines.

Patrick’s Pointe will feature a range of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units complemented by amenities such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, and a dog park. Volta Global, civil engineer LKC, architect Finley Design, and landscape architect Koontz Jones Design collaborated to integrate the culture and heritage of Southern Pines, NC into the design of this unique multi-family development. CCC joins the team with an established track record working alongside Finley Design and expertise in delivering successful multi-family communities.

Corey Mabus, Vice President of Construction at Carolina Commercial Contractors, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming venture, stating, “We’re eager to commence development in Moore County. Our prior multi-family projects in neighboring counties have been highly successful, making significant contributions to the local communities, and we expect nothing less from Patrick’s Pointe.”

Anticipating a groundbreaking ceremony in the coming weeks, CCC has outlined an approximate 24-month construction timeline for the project. Upon completion, Patrick’s Pointe will be managed by Greystar, a globally recognized property management firm with a vast portfolio, currently overseeing more than 857,000 multi-family units and student beds worldwide.
