After completing our responsibilities as the general contractor on our commercial construction projects, we love to show our support of the new establishments at their grand openings and ribbon cuttings. Recently, our esteemed partner, ALG Senior, celebrated the unveiling of their latest senior living community, The Crossings of Smithfield, on November 8, 2023.

Situated just minutes away from the bustling downtown of Smithfield, NC, The Crossings at Smithfield stands as a premier 55+ active adult community. Offering thoughtfully designed one and two-bedroom floor plans, the community is positioned as the ideal residence for seniors in eastern North Carolina. This three-story haven boasts a range of amenities, including chef kitchens, inviting communal spaces, an outdoor patio, and a fitness center. Adjacent to The Crossings is the Landings of Smithfield, an assisted living community specializing in memory and respite care.

On the grand opening day, representatives from ALG Senior and dedicated employees from The Crossings proudly joined forces to cut the ceremonial blue ribbon in collaboration with the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce. Welcoming esteemed guests, they provided tours of the new building. Already, several residents have made The Crossings their home, with additional rooms reserved for seniors eagerly anticipating their move in the coming weeks.

The event garnered widespread support, with business representatives from Smithfield, Selma, and neighboring communities in attendance. Attendees enjoyed a delightful array of drinks and appetizers, expressing their excitement for the positive contributions The Crossings at Smithfield would bring to their neighborhoods.
