Sanford, NC – TLC Home celebrated the groundbreaking of their new addition at the TLC site on Hawkins Avenue. After many years of wishing for more room for their mentally and physically challenged residents, board members are giddy about it actually happening.

Project Manager Dave Richardson says, “The team here has been great to work with. They do amazing things here and CCC is happy to do this local work.”

Superintendent Chase Dodson shares his sentiments. “We are excited to begin going vertical on this project. It is really rewarding to be doing a job for such a worthy cause.”

This project adds 10 bedrooms to the existing facility, allowing the now-adult long-time residents to have private rooms and some “breathing room.”
